Today's Agenda:
1. We will read and discuss Langston Hughes' poem "Theme for English B" and then students will answer some comprehension questions and then write their own poem. 2. After the poem, students will create a cluster diagram for Culture as well as a cluster diagram for the culture they identify with the most. Today's Agenda:
1. Students will complete their first Reading Inventory Assessment. 2. After the assessment, students will work do an assignment (apostrophes) on NoRedInk through CTLS. Today's Agenda:
1. We will practice writing a narrative, as it is a part of the EOC. Students will write a story using the Alphabet as their guide. 2. Students need to practice memorizing classmates' names. Today's Agenda:
1. We will practice naming our classmates to strengthen our memory. 2. Students will partner up and work as pairs on a "Common Sense" Test. 3. We will go over the answers together at the end of the block. Today's Agenda:
